A Day Full of Wonder, Learning & Faith
Every moment at Play Time is intentional and structured enough to build confidence, flexible enough to follow curiosity.
We track every child's growth — and share it with you
At Play Time, we use Brightwheel's Experience Assessments — a professional child development tool built into our daily routine. It's not just an app; it's how we make sure every child is seen, supported, and growing.
What is Brightwheel Experience Assessments?
Brightwheel Experience Assessments is a research-backed developmental framework used by early childhood programs across the country. It gives teachers a structured way to observe children, document what they see, and measure growth across all areas of development — from language and literacy to social skills and motor development. The framework is aligned with Head Start standards and early learning guidelines in all 50 states, so you can trust it's built on what actually matters for young children.
We observe and document daily
As your child plays, learns, and interacts, we're watching with purpose — noting skills they've shown, milestones they've hit, and areas where they could use a little extra encouragement.
Growth tracked across all areas
We assess the whole child — social and emotional development, language and literacy, math concepts, physical skills, and more. Nothing gets overlooked.
You stay in the loop
Parents receive clear, easy-to-understand progress reports showing exactly what their child has learned and what's coming next — no guessing, no surprises.
