Welcome to Play Time Home Child Care! I am a licensed home child care provider based in White Plains, MD, with a deep passion for early childhood education and a heart rooted in Christian faith. My journey into childcare began with a simple calling to create a warm, nurturing space where children feel loved, safe, and inspired to grow.
With 20 plus years of experience working with all children and teens. I specialize in preschool-aged children ages 5 and younger and I have dedicated myself to providing a structured yet joyful learning environment. I believe that the early years are the most formative, and I take that responsibility seriously combining play-based learning with intentional academic preparation.
As an Air Force Veteran and holder of a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, I bring discipline, structure, and a deep commitment to excellence to everything I do. My faith guides my approach and I believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made, and I treat each one accordingly.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering love and support of my family. To my husband Walter thank you for your constant love, your faithful prayers, and your encouragement every step of the way. You are my rock. To my daughters Angel and Victoria, and my sons Isaiah and Micah thank you for your love, your help, your honest input, and for graciously sharing me with so many little ones. You are my greatest blessings and my biggest inspiration.
Credentials & Training
Licensed Provider
Fully licensed by the state of Maryland to operate a home child care facility.
CPR & First Aid Certified
Current certification in infant/child/adult CPR and First Aid for child safety.
Early Childhood Education Director Certified
20 plus years certifed center and home director. Ongoing training in early childhood development and Christian curriculum.

Over two decades of dedicated experience nurturing and educating young children.
